After being a member of Gold's, this is definitely several steps down. I went to three cleaning stations to find the containers empty, ran on the treadmill (and sweated more than I would have in the Kansas humidity) - building was not very cool, tvs are not hooked up on the cardio equipment, and the weight area has very little room between machines. With combining both gyms and all the members, expanding is a must, among the other fore mentioned.

You guys overcrowded a gym that was barely big enough for the original 24 hour memebers. I bet everyday at 5 you guys are over the building capacity.

Soooo Saturday mornings the kids club doesn't open until 8:30 and the group exercise Body Combat class is at 8am....this needs to change as I watched another individual in disappointment not able to attend along with others...please fix these hours on Saturday

I'm extemely disappointed that the 119th location was closed. I've been going to that gym (under other names) for 5 years. Being told a couple days prior that it was closing was very upsetting. I loved everything about that gym, the other gym goers were very respectful of eachother, it was very spacious and a great spread out set up. I walk into the 24 hour location it's dark, smelly and a completely different atmosphere. The equipment was SO old and dated. Extremely disappointed in how this merge was handled. We were not told until four days before the merge that the 119 location was going to close down. Genesis timed this conveniently at the end of the month so those who chose to cancel their membership would still owe their dues at the end of the month. I will miss the original golds gym. I made several friends at that location and it's a shame that it had to close down.
