I don’t get to go very often, but when I do, it’s always a place that I feel welcome. Al and Lucy always keep everyone happy, the drinks flowing, and the hotdogs ready. I always run into friends when I’m there, the live music is awesome, and the beer prices are great. It’s a great neighborhood bar with a lot of character. 🍻
Great dogs and cold beer!
Had a great, fun evening at Gene’s Thursday evening, listening to Cloud Crest and making friends with all the friendly folks there. Gene’s is a relic not to be missed! When you go, be sure to meet the proprietor, Al. Nice guy! Here he is with Cloud Crest and a couple of regulars from their old days when they were in grad school at WVU, my daughter and her husband. I drove 1500 miles to go to Gene’s for the first time and to hear Cloud Crest—was definitely worth it!!
I love the drinks, the music, and I especially love the people. It’s a great community!
