Great service! We have purchased our last several trucks from General Truck and have been very pleased.
Bought a Suburban in 88. Had it 16 years. Sold it with almost 250,000 miles. Bought a 95 Sierra Custom SLE 4x4. Still rolling.
Idle gear went out. Towed in and was told it was a three day repair. After three days, I was told it was going to be another three days. Three days later was told it would be WEEKS before it was fixed! Cost me over $1000 in hotel fees and over $1500 in lost wages. Being jerked around by them costs a fortune! Will never do business with them again!
I took a fleet truck into this place for a 10 min fix. Supposedly they found a recall and preceded to fix without asking about my time restraints. Sat there for over two hours and I seen mechanics sitting more than working in their " state of the art facility". At least it's not coming out of my pocket I guess
20 years ago we were getting our first Volvo serviced here. We got great service. Now not realizing that we were dealing with the same dealership. We bought a new Volvo truck from them. My wife got our new Volvo truck sight unseen. They are still a great place to be doing business with. A dealer who can be trusted to do the right thing.
Called the previous day to verify they had our much-needed steering box. Then made an appointment for 10 a.m. the next day to have it installed finally around 2:15 p.m. they came and told us that they had sold our steering box that morning and then asked us to move out of the bay because we we're in the way. after a half an hour of waiting I went back in and they said there was nothing they can do for us, that the part could be in the next day but we had a load to get under so we had to leave. the price quoted was shockingly... read more
