I recommend GF milk paint, gel stains and, of course, High Performance because I've tried SO many others and GF is the easiest to use with the best coverage. I have pieces I've painted several years ago that are still like new. I ALWAYS finish any piece with GF High Performance Satin because the finish outlasts any other!
