I used General Finish product to stain a wood floor white. After extensive research and also contact with the company with assurances the clear coat purchased (at $100 a gallon) would not yellow the white, the result...a dingy yellow floor. All I received from GF was that it was my fault. After resending an area to complete bare wood and redoing, that part of the floor turned yellower than the rest of it. Milk paint sticks to all finishes of wood extremely well. Dries hard and is very durable. Gives a nice smooth finish. Also really like their Flat Out Flat and High Performance top coats. I've painted my kitchen cabinets and bathroom cabinets and they've turned out better than I could've imagined. By far the best products out there.
