Most unprofessional experience I've ever had and a complete waste of money. The person had no tools to test any of my equipment and basically just guessed it was a motherboard issue, which I was then promptly charged 125 for with the rep not even bothering to make sure I was satisfied with my experience. I then stayed in touch with the technician who was supposed to bring another board, but both he and the company were giving me non-committal, curt responses. Matt & Matt, took my failed laptop, got it running by "wiping" hard drive & reinstalling most files, but NOT some programs..... Had it for 36 hours??? Could not tell me specifically what was the cause, or how to prevent it in the future. While picking it up they both encouraged me to call with any questions: called twice : got teeny-bopper girl phone receptionist who promised a return call: never happened in both instances....So I called again & got Matt the receptionist: he promised to call when a tech was available......ne... read more

Don't get involved with Geek Choice unless you have money to lose. After all I went through with Geek Choice it ends up that they admittedly owe me $942.59 and refuse to pay me. They also engage in threats and allegations of blackmail. In my opinion they are akin to a criminal organization that only exists to take advantage of people. If you don't want to get involved in taking legal action to get what is rightfully yours, then stay away from Geek Choice.

Be careful. I had a terrible experience with Geek Choice. When I had an issue, they did not return emails, they did not return phone calls. They charged $150 for a 1 hour job. What they don't tell you is that they post your job, address and all on a web site and pretty much anyone can claim the job. They charge you $150 they pay the tech which they know nothing about $50. I wish I never even called these guys. Zero after sale support, especially if there is a problem. Don't let the flashy web site fool you.

I recently had no video display on my monitor, the guy from Geek Choice showed and he had absolutley no clue what to do or look for. He wasnt even in the house for 5 min before he started calling in to his help desk. I was expecting a full diagnostic and the man showed up with nothing. I even had to lend him some of my tools. You would think one of the first things you a professional would check is to see if the Motherboard is working, you do this by taking out all the RAM and turning on PC to llisten for beeps codes. frustrated no more – they came out the next day and got my computer up and running and i fortunately did not lose any of my stuff. i flipped out when my computer crashed, symantec was not help whatsoever, and the geeks were very patient with my lack of knowledge in computers

happy resident – we have been a resident of beacon hill for over 43 years now, and i just recently stumbled upon Geek Choice. I stopped in spoke with a technician and he gave me some advice, and i brought my laptop in the next day to have it cleaned up, they were fast, and very courteous and I just think they are wonderful

outlook express help – I was having some issues accessing my email on MS Outlook. Then i called geek choice and they sent a man over to my home later that day, and he fixed my outlook settings and now all my emails are coming through! thanks Geek Choice.

thanks for taking out the frustration – i had a nasty virus on my pc after my BF went galavanting on the web and i got so frustrated that i looked up pc repair and found the Geeks, they sent a geek to me the next morning and Matt fixed all my problems, thanks
