The food was good, but the service was bad, and the wait was long. We ordered an appetizer and two main dishes and it took over an hour. There was only 8 tables with guest and half had already got there food. The portion size was good for the money, but the wait time kills and for that I wouldn’t go back.
Way overpriced! Got only five small raviolis! Their "homemade" sauce tastes like a canned marinara sauce from Walmart. My boyfriend got the Tuscan chicken. The noodles that came with it were just covered in oil and pepper. I'm not even a good cook but I could've done that myself.... The chicken itself wasn't even season and had a cold tomato inside. The "dinner roll" seemed day old. The chicken noodle soup was pretty good but was a very small portion. For the price, I would rather go to +39. Even fazolis was more satisfying.... read more

RecommendedThe portions you get for the price are amazing. If anyone leaves here not full, that is a problem. the wait staff are super friendly and courteous. The food is always hot and there is nothing on this menu I wouldn’t eat. The Calzone is to die for, plus it is gargantuas. The absolute best Italian restaurant in Ames Iowa. 5 STARS ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ALL THE WAY!!!!!
