Awesome Doc! I was scheduled for surgery and my previous pulmonologist terminated me as a patient. Dr. Patel wasted no time in accepting me as a patient. He cleared me for surgery.

Dr. Patel was very cordial. He was very good about explaining the causes of my condition and the options for taking care of it.
I felt like the nurse that did my vitals listened more than the real doctor did; he was nice but I tried to bring up my issues 3 times and was cut off by him telling me the same thing (to follow a schedule) and kept suggesting I had sleep apnea when a separate study said I did not. It was a quick visit and felt unproductive, but I guess we’ll see.
Dr. Patel only wanted to discuss sleep apnea and CPAP machines. Dr. Patel disregarded my main concerns and said that he is not able to help. He ignored my concerns about insomnia, sleep-walking/eating, Night terrors, and sleep deprivation. I informed the office about other lung issues that Dr. Patel neglected to even speak to me about. CPAP machines are on back order - this visit did nothing to help me!

I went to see Dr Patel about breathing problems I was having when I am awake. He is only concerned with pushing those CPAP machines. I have tried twice to get him to talk to him about my breathing problems. He side steps and talks about sleep Apnea. I am awake and can’t get a deep breath. It has nothing to do with sleeping.
Found Dr Patel very informative on sleep apnea and great communication with him. Took time to explain medication interactions and feel confident with him overseeing my healthcare.
He always takes his time to talk with you and explain things.
Dr Patel is an excellent specialist. He carefully assesses my medical conditions and quickly finds appropriate measures to initiate in order to resolve my issues. He also attentively listens when I voice concerns and provides clear explanations and steps to take to alleviate them. I confidently recommend Dr Patel as his level of expertise is impressive.
