Dr. Duffy is always friendly and approachable. He is extremely professional and easy to understand. He never makes you feel that you are asking too many questions. I have never felt 'rushed' through the appointment which seems to be the norm with my other doctors. I highly recommend him. I wish that there were more doctors like him.
Went in for total knee replacement, after 3 months I went to Venice, LA on a yellowfin tuna fishing trip, had no problems with my new knee. Could not have done this before the surgery because of to much pain in the old knee. When the time comes to have my other knee done it will be Dr. Duffy.
Dr Duffy listened to me and his answers made me feel safe and right where I was supposed to be. His expertise and attention to detail, in every aspect of his practice, was a privilege to see and experience! And always delivered in a charming manner!!!

It has taken me 6 months to write this, the 500 characters given you is no where near enough to describe my incredible experience with Dr. Gavan Duffy and the entire staff of Southeast Orthopedic. I will begin by telling you that due to multiple health problems, getting my hip replaced was truley a long shot. Dr. Duffy and I met and after the first time meeting him and he with the utmost confidence he looked me in the eye shook my hand and assured me We could do this. He is an amazing Dr and man
Less than three months after knee replacement and I'm back on the tennis court! This could not have been possible w/out the tremendous care received from Dr. Duffy and his team of medical professionals. From my first appointment to today, Dr. Duffy and his colleagues have provided needed information, support, encouragement, and EXCELLENT medical care to take me from needing a cane to now engaging life without a cane or pain. What a blessing; I recommend Dr. Duffy and his team without reservation
had to have knee replacement and the doctors at Costal Spine recommended Dr. Duffy. Had several shots in knee (left). After several months of shots, we decided to go ahead and do the replacement. Dr. Duffy and PA Earl(Chunky) explained everything about how it was done and what they would do. Dr. Duffy came in every night to check on me and to ask how I was doing. That made me feel like he cared. I have been singing his praises ever since. I have told many people to go to him.
My knee replacement surgery and post-surgery care was excellent! Several players at my tennis club also had knee replacements by Dr. Duffy and were very satisfied-- that's why I chose him to do the surgery. Office appointments are not rushed and he takes time to answer questions.
