This is a great museum that fills a hole left by our public museums that have delegated their mineral collections to storage.

I've been taking y grandkids here sine thy were toddlers. They loved collecting rocks and learning the names and where they come from. They have helped the kids make such beautiful jewelry for gifts at very reasonable prices, from choosing the stones to selecting the chains and fasteners. I love the museum.
