RecommendedOMG! This is an amazing place! My love of rocks and minerals is a half century old. I could spend hours in this place.
Pleasant and helpful staff. Wonderful assortment. My daughter would rather shop here than any department store. Staff showed her some equipment and helped her with her hobby. Love this place.

If Richard Nass had not showcased two agates from this store/museum, Gaumers Jewelry Museum and Lapidary, I would not have known it existed, since I'm on the East Coast. Being curious, I decided to check this out. Will have to check further when I have more time.
If you want to buy loose stones or gems, at a fraction of the price, go to the Gem and Mineral shows in Shasta County. Much cheaper and better variety. Gaumers is overpriced and bad customer service !
