Blair always spends time with me, she cares and you feel like more than just another patient! She is thorough and I have complete trust in her. She's very reassuring and I don't want to trust anyone else with examining me! She works several days in Pooler which is great for me. Given a PA rather that the doctor to see. Given treatment for alopecia that I informed the PA I had previous problems with, told that I would be reimbursed for treatment, wasn't, treatment useddid not take intoaccount my overly dry skin, which I told the PA about.
When I first became her patient 10+ years ago, I would see a PA initially but Dr. Gaughf would always step in and exam and explain any conditions or concerns. I’ve had 2 post-COVID appointments due to a vaccine-related eczema outbreak. Saw a very nice PA (although I could have done without the pat on the knee and “God bless you”) but have not seen Dr. Gaughf, despite the fact that the first medication prescribed did nothing to relieve the constant itch and rash (nor has the second). I've never seen Dr. Gaughf for an office visit. I always see Steven, the PA who is absolutely awesome. I love it when it dresses in a dress shirt and bowtie and dress shoes. Makes my morning to see him and he's always in a great mood! Love the energy!
Dr. Gaughf and her staff always provide excellent care in a relaxed and welcoming environment. Sure she is busy. The best physicians always are.
Amy was great. Staff was great. My questions are on the paperwork and things I had to approve prior to the exam. 1. Missed visit would cost me $50, but nothing on if the office changed my appointment due to their issue in the 24 hr timeline. Shouldn’t they also have to pay me if it happens on their end and should it be stated in this document? 2. If I see a PA instead of a DR should I have to pay the same office visit fee? Dr. Gaugh's P.A., Amy Millsap, did an unrushed and thorough exam yesterday. She was also very nice and accommodating and answered all of my questions. She is a real asset to the practice!
