I was in the Savannah office for bi-annual examination. Exam was thorough and wait time was ok. The doctor & staff are friendly and considerate of patient needs .
Had a problem bleeding from behind my left ear. The PA found that I had scratched my ear. She did a full body exam and froze places on top of my head. Also took a biopsy of a place on my right side.
Went for my first annual skin cancer screening with her. Dr. Gaugh clearly knows what she is doing and focused on what I came for--checking for signs of skin cancer. She's personable, easy to talk to, and professional. Just what I want in a doctor. The rest of the staff I encountered were friendly and helpful too. I'd definitely recommend this practice.
Thought it was important to write this review because i know how emotionally damaging skin issues can be and hope this will help anyone looking for a good dermatologist. Best dermatologist I've ever had. I've lived in several states, seeing dermatologist in each one, and none of them come close to the service and results I've had with Gaughf. I have been a patient of Dr. Gaughf’s for over 10 years. I now see the PA Blair for exams every 6 months & I have full confidence in her. The office called me to schedule an appointment for Dr. Gaughf to treat a suspicious area found by Blair with a biopsy. When I arrived they had no record of the appointment. After waiting almost 45 minutes I finally saw Dr. Gaughf. She seemed confused about why I was there & then uncertain about how to treat the area. Quick and easy. Staff are very pleasant and easy to talk with. I’ll definitely visit again.
As always, Blair and the staff were courteous and very helpful. She answered all my questions and prescribed the proper meds.
I saw when I was a teenager and she removed a mole on my back without my permission while my mother watched. Dont take your kids here! Don't trust her about your moles that you know better than anyone else. That mole of mine was fine, it just had makeup on it from a dance performance I'd be in the previous weekend and that's why it seemed darker.
