Don't waste your money!!!! Never go to this place!! This place false advertises with their coupons and like the review before states they try and tell you that you'd have to pay the full price for the meals. Gaucho's- wonderful food, service and atmosphere! After reading these reviews, I was hesitant to go to Gaucho's but I took the chance and went and I am addicted. I thought the salad bar was great (all the food was fresh and tasty!). The waitress we had was very friendly, and polite and always came back every 20 minutes to check on us. Will never go back!! The food was overpriced and mediocre at best. Not to mention the horrible service! The servers kept bringing around the same type of meat again and again and by the time they brought something new all our other food was cold. The bathrooms were disgusting. Best Restaurant I've Ever Been To!! I've been to Gaucho's before and I must say, it just keeps getting better every time I go back. I first went with my mom, because she loves seafood and they offer ALL YOU CAN EAT crab legs. Our Friend's Birthday a Success Thanks to Gaucho's!! I just tried Gaucho's for the first time this past weekend! It was my best friend's 30th birthday and a bunch of us wanted to celebrate. Horrible! I'll never go back! We waited for an hour to be seated. The salad bar was plain. The meat had no taste or seasoning. It's over priced and not worth the money! They're stingy with the portions of meat. If you could get them to serve you. They charge $2.00 for cheap bottled water and don't tell you until you get your bill! World Class I went there on my birthday and it was amazing!!! I had a large group of people with me and the waiter was so friendly and nice! He would joke with us and he just seemed like the type of person that actually enjoyed their job, you don't find that just anywhere! They tried to gather all the employees to sing to me also, but they were soo packed they couldnt, but they rounded up three and brought out the DELICIOUS cake!! I was so full when i left there! I would definitely recommend this to everybody who is hungry!
Happy46375 I wish I had visited this place before Monday, May 23, 2011, but I was totally surprised by the service & the food. I certainly will be back. It is the best kept secret in N.W. Indiana.
Gaucho's was a pleasant experience Just had dinner there tonight. The service was excellent, the food was delicious. We live in Chicago, but traveled there on word of mouth rave reviews. We have been to Fogo de Choa a few times, which is an excellent place, but this is just as good and a little more reasonable priced and I felt way better service.
