The NP (with the 80s makeup) needs to go back to school and pay attention this time!! She must be 100 years old since she knows everything!! She should realize people that come through the door pay her salary!! Be kind and help people that need it, instead of acting better than them.
RecommendedI’ve been to gateway urgent care twice this year and both times were great experiences.. aside from ya know, being there for medical reasons of course lol.. Both times the staff were all very friendly and knowledgeable. Thank you!
Terribly long wait time. We waited for 1.5 before we were seen. A NP came to exam my little. She started the conversation off by complaining about how understaffed they were and the have been begging for a 2nd NP. My daughter was being seen for fever/ congestion. The NP took a quick look and determined she MAY have a slight ear infection. She than gave me the option to make up a diagnosis of a severe ear infection in order to call in a prescription (she said the state has really cracked down on antibiotics.) I had the absolute worst experience. They made me wait 2 hours while only having two other patients. They told all the patients if it gets worse go to the emergency room and don’t treat them. She told me that I didn’t have what I knew I had before even checking me out or taking vitals. They were very rude and talked down to you and have the worst customer service I have ever seen. With being in a college town you would think they would know how to treat an illness but they don’t.
everyone was extremely nice and compassionate! The FNP was very thorough, caring and very knowledgable to the medications other places should not be giving at all!! I will go there from now on when needed!!!
My 3.5 year old daughter was not feeling well today, it turned out that she had strep. The nurse and NP were both great with her!! We were in and out in about 45 min. And she has been carrying around the stuffed puppy that they gave her all day!
