Loved our stay! The room felt like we were in a friend's guest room! The staff is incredibly friendly and the breakfast is very nice!
These guys live up to all of the positive reviews I've read, and now they get another one! We were in town for a concert at Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre and The room was clean and the decor is very homey. Bedding was clean and soft. We felt like we were staying in a friend's guest room. According to one of the staff members, our room was amongst the newly renovated. It's on a fairly busy street, but the windows easily canceled out any noise. Next time we stay on the North side of Chicago, we'll keep Gateway Inn in mind.
Room was very clean, minor things like missing tiles in the bathroom, cords were loose in the electrical outlets but that's about it. Air conditioning worked great. All in all, very pleasant stay. Would definitely recommend it and we will be using this Motel the next time we go to Illinois.

Very clean room and restroom, actually got a good night's sleep after driving here from Nashville Tn, The Night Staff guy was friendly, I would stay here again!
I deliver their mail and everyone is so kind and welcoming. Super clean and inviting place. Local family owned. They serve breakfast every day, even yummy waffles!
It's like a home away from home. Caring people and nice clean rooms very comfortable. Love the gateway inn.
