RecommendedSo, if you ever get the chance, take the tour from Gate 1 Travel called “9 Day Central Thailand with River Kwai”. It ends up being only 6 touring days (travel time of 2 days there + 1 day back=9 days). Short, but jam packed with fun. Lots of free time too which gives you the chance to do your own thing (like our visit to Elephants’ Home & Nature on the free day in Bangkok), but you also have the security of knowing your guide is there if you need him/her. Just got back this morning from an eight day tour beginning in Phoenix and ending in Vegas. We visited Sedona, Monument Canyon, Grand Canyon, Bryce Canyon, Zion, Red Rock Canyon. Each hotel chosen by Gate1 was wonderful (4 star) with excellent breakfasts. Our guide Bill and driver Derrick where so personable, helpful and fun. absolutely incredible tour in Italy!
I hope you guys feel big keeping our money after we didn’t cancel our reservation in a way you deem acceptable. People that can’t travel because of cancer generally need that money for, you know, medical expenses. So thanks for that. If you are a seemingly healthy adult looking to make a reservation to travel through this company my advice is don’t. Traveled with Gate1 to Machu Picchu and its was an great experience. Our Guide, Alvaro Bernales Ludeña to the trip to the next level! The sights were good but Alvaro made the trip amazing!!!

GREAT VALUE...that says it all. Escorted tours are really good; high quality...great hotels....great tour guides....I was a travel agent for 17 years and believe strongly in Gate 1.... Just wish you could MESSAGE THEM.....
We have done the Tuscan fly & drive (none escorted tour) as well as Amsterdam/Belgium/Paris escorted tour and both were amazing! The quality of the hotels amazing for the price. The tour guides knowledgeable and very personable. Looking forward to Peru next summer, of course only with Gate 1!
