Hey guys! Thanks for the massive heart attack! You guys called me at 1pm to tell me my flight Tomorrow was canceled and I had no options except to travel at 10p TONIGHT out of JFK. That’s not enough notice to get from Western PA!! Your agents and supervisor told me that if I missed the flight I lost my reservation and there would be no refund!! Buyer beware!! We took one trip with Gate 1 to Morocco and were very pleased. We took the change for any reason insurance and didn't have to use it, fortunately. So my spouse booked a 6 day trip to Iceland for a surprise for Christmas (very thoughtful). Again buying the cancel (which is really change) for any reason insurance. The agent, David Walton assured us that meant what it said, rebook and not lose any money, just change fees. We wanted to rebook to change to the 9 day...Continue Reading
We booked a European trip with Gate1 and purchased the “cancel for any reason” insurance. We had to cancel, and notified Gate1. They responded that they could not refund air fare costs, and instructed us to contact Arch Insurance Solutions. Arch claims that only Gate1 can refund “cancel for any reason”. We have been dealing with this con game for over a month. We paid additional money for the CFAR insurance. This is deplorable and will ensure our group does not book again with #Hate1Travel
