This review is for the Gastro dept. as a whole, however, I am giving two stars, one each for the 2 medical professionals in this department who actually helped me, Dr. Stephanie Moleski, and Mysty Chacko, PAC (I would give her 5 stars.) Dr. M diagnosed me with gastroparesis in 2020 after I got sick and lost over 20% of my body mass and had to leave work due to my inability to function. Employees are rude and incompetent. You’re told incorrect time for procedures and then they act as though you made a mistake when you show up at the time they told you to arrive. Do not go here if you’re seeking helpful, personalized care.
The only bad experiences that I had with Jefferson was the day before my procedure which was 11/06/2025 at around 815:am when I called into the Gi receptionists desk from my job phone. The reason for my call was to see when I should start my prep for my procedure. A lady name Sandy answer my call and was very polite when I called, I explained to her my reason for calling and she check my chart to see if she seen anything which she did not. Was charged $350 for Dr Louis T Broad to not take my 10% weight loss and constant vomiting and nausea seriously. He joked about my nausea, touched my stomach without gloves, and cut me off every chance he got. Complete waste of time and money. Beware of this doctor.
Too many headaches with this place. The office never sent a prior authorization form to my insurer and you literally cannot get this doctors office to call you back to confirm or provide ANY information. I’ve called 3 times and the receptionist takes a message, says someone will call in 24-48 hours, and then radio silence. Extremely frustrating experience. EDIT: So I called the number listed under the response to my review and it was an automated system that asked to leave a message.
