We switched from a pediatrician in the grove who originally was attentive and great for my children but since then became a factory and the level of care dropped drastically so we had to leave. We also had issues with an on-going sickness where their previous dr would prescribe crazy amounts of medication for an “ear infection” but found out that they were misdiagnosed and was taking medicine they didn’t need. We really enjoy our experience with Dr Kramer. He doesn't make me feel inferior or dismissive. He's a medical professional and has seen many of the same ailments countless of times and is very knowledgeable in regards to them. On the contrary to others, I may be more reactive and concerned and him being more calm helps ease the worry of something more major occurring. We suffered for almost 3 years feeling unheard and without answers. Needless to say, we found a pediatrician that listens to us and are finally learning how to deal with our son’s asthma. For years Dr. Kramer would blow off my sons asthma as “upper respiratory infections” and that “kids get 12-14” colds a year. My son would, with his condition, stay 2-3 weeks coughing up a lung. My husband and I picked Dr. Kramer for our son as his pediatrician when he was born, but we are not happy and will be looking for another provider. The wait times are always at least an hour and he will spend no more than 3-5 minutes with us. He is not open for discussion and dismisses anything we have to say regarding any issue we have encountered with our son and his health. I don't understand what is the fuss around Dr Kramer. I never post any reviews but it has been so bad that I felt the need to do it. Every time we go, we have to wait at least 1 hour before he sees us. (once we waited 2 hours !!). When he finally comes, he takes 2 mins for the examination, hardly listens to what we got to say and is absolutely not open for discussion. Dr. Kramer has been our pediatrician for 16 years now. He is amazing! He is responsive, caring, and has always guided us in the right direction with what is best for our children in mind. I have never thought of changing doctors and both my kids respect and trust him as their doctor.
He is amazing! We changed pediatricians and Dr. Kramer caught immediately that the previous office forgot to give my children immunizations. He listens and is thoughtful and respectful. He gives us his full attention and doesn't brush off concerns. His office staff is friendly and I have never waited longer than 30 minutes for an appointment. We are so satisfied with Dr. Kramer and wish we went to him sooner.
We love Dr. Kramer and Dr. Kimsey! They are patient and knowledgeable. I go there for the doctors, not the environment... I do not like the office because there are no windows and the rooms are tiny. I feel like I am in a dungeon in there. However, it is clean. I have a teenager and a little one. The office is definitely set up for little children. I wish is was a bit more older child friendly. I also wish there was a sick and a healthy kid waiting room, but the office is too small for that..
What’s the big fuss about this Doctor? I don’t know. He is as caring as a lawyer =/, very distant and robotic with children.. The staff is horrendous. Any request you may have the answer is NO and also they didn’t know what my baby was doing there by the 2nd appointment we had. I had to “remind them” that is was vaccines and check up =O. They refused to measure him. Moving on to another pediatrician, and if you want records you have to pay a fee and the lady at front desk don’t know what it is.
