We are new to the PA area. We chanced upon Garyowen, and I'm so glad we did. This bar was the cleanest Irish Pub I've been to. The staff was so nice and extra helpful when asked any question. And, I haven't even gotten to the food yet. It was a damn fine meal! I got the lamb burger and it was perfection. The meat wasn't too gamey and seasoned just right. We will make the 30 min drive back to go to this bar in a heartbeat!
One of our favorites. Always sit at the bar. Foods really good and great atmosphere. Great selection of Irish whiskeys and Matts very knowledgable. The passport party's are fun too. Can wait for the next one! Jeff Peters
My husband and I are new to the area, and we decided to go her for a rare date night. It was amazing. Great food, great service. Our waitress was great and made recommendations on what was good, although I doubt there's much on the menu that isn't good.
Nice atmosphere. Cheese sampler and Shepherd's Pie was great! Derrick was a very nice and knowledgeable waiter. Thank you!

Great food, fantastic service! Happened upon this place by accident and absolutely loved it. If you love Irish Pub atmosphere and are just in the mood for something different, check it out! Definitely on my favorites list.
Have been here on 3 other occasions and have been pleased with the service. However our trip today was less then enjoyable. We got a table, but no menus. Came to take our drink order, waited 10 mins to get our drinks and then another 50 minutes for food. Not sure we will be back!!!
Love Garryowen Irish Pub! Great food and excellent service from our waiter, Keevan! He really went out of his way to make our visit enjoyable!
Guinness stew was superb! The wait staff very helpful and had great suggestions. Live music added to the atmosphere. Did I mention the stew?.....heaven!!
