A very authentic Irish Pub serving the best Ruben I have ever eaten!! Will definitely go back to try other menu items.
Garryowens is THEE BEST Irish Pub, hands down. The atmosphere is rustic, charming and friendly and most definitely had Irish flare! The food is AMAZING- you have to try the Guinness Beef Stew and the Sheperds Pie, which is actually Cottage Pie, but either way, amazing. I promise you won't be disappointed. This was my 4th visit since last year, when a friend and I stayed in Gettysburg. We just visited yesterday, with Garryowens definitely in mind! Love this place!
The Reuben they make at the "Owen" is the stuff of legends. One of my many favorites on the menu. Bangers and Mash is rocking too. This place gets a bit busy on on Friday or Saturday night but that is because the food is so good. Music is great too. Be sure to stop in when they are having live music. You really cant go wrong with the Gary Owen...it's a Gettysburg treasure!
Pretty cool place. First time there. Server was good and friendly. I'm a musician so I want to come back for their traditional Irish music. And they have Kilkenny's on tap which I like!! Overall good experience.
My husband and daughter, Olivia had a great time at the bar for drinks and then we had dinner in the dining room! The food was excellent! My husband said best pot pie ever! I go back again and next time for the music!
The best atmosphere, and food I've ever experienced. Definitely coming back. I will even drive the 2 1/2 hours just to dine there.

Food and service were excellent. Definitely recommend the lamb burger and Irish mixed grill. And the Irish nachos were a great start.
Had the onion soup and beef stew and bread pudding!! Absolutely delicious. Husband had crab and red pepper bisque, bangers and mash and chocolate chip cookie with ice cream. Delicious!!! Also said 30 minute wait, it was only 10 tops. Highly recommended!
