Busy pub but worth waiting for. Known for Shepherds Pie and it was just perfect. Great choice for lunch or dinner!
I had the Celtic shrimp...delicious. Hubby and I shared a cheese plate. Hubby got oysters on half shel, and the Meatloaf special...food was outstanding and service was impeccable!
I had the crab and res peppercorn soup it was delicious along with the shepherds pie. Which was good to . My family had the pulled pork and garryowen burgers.
Friendliest staff ever. The bartender was knowledgeable in Irish / Irish American history. We had the lamb burgers with tomato pesto. Probably one of the best burgers I've ever eaten. Of course, you can't go wrong with Guinness.

The Thai curry mussels- never a let down! They're my happy place. Great service yesterday, it really does make or break the experience!!! Thank you bearded young man!!
Great burger cooked perfectly and so happy they had Scottish Eggs. Those are hard to find. Highly recommended!!!
My wife an I had the crab bisque and loved it, I had the Guinness stew and it was fabulous, my wife had the fish and chips and did Not enjoy it at all, but loved my stew and I know their Sheppard s pie is very good from past visits.. my wife recommends anything but the fish...
Excellent food!!! Warm and inviting environment and wow was the staff on top of things. I live about an hour and a half away and I am seriously considering making the drive regularly just to come to Garryowne's Irish Pub.
