Excellent food. Nice atmosphere. Would definitely call ahead on the weekends tho. We waited 45 minutes to be seated, but it was worth it.
food is ALWAYS top drawer. and whats not to like about an Irish whiskey bar? � but, i do miss being able to make a reservation to eat prior to music. (we come early & stay late) i guess we will have to weigh all factors from now on.

We had a wonderful experience here. I had the Shepherds Pie my wife had the Fish n Chips. We both enjoyed the food and our Waiter was fantastic!
The food and service were exceptional. I had the Shepard’s pie and my wife the onion soup. Topped it off with a double chocolate cake.

Just a great authentic Irish pub, great food, lots of whiskey, very friendly staff and locals. This is a must stop if you are in Gettysburg. A home away from home for this long distance local.
Simply, as good as it gets. Awesome food and drink of course, but equally as important, great people who care about what they're doing, and who've consistently delivered excellence for 10 years and counting. As visitors to Gettysburg enjoy the Garryowen in terms of a "tourist" experience, it's become a staple for locals, not just for food but...for music and events. The GO has always been "the little pub that could"...and does.
