Any time when I do a day trip or actual vacation in Gettysburg, I make it point to stop by for either a meal and or drink. Love their house cider and the Shepard's pie.
Amazing curry fries!! Great service and atmosphere!
Love Garryowens. Great food, drinks and service.
The food was fantastic, the service was exceptional. We had a lovely experience and will definitely be back.
Food is great quality. Service if pretty decent. Portion size is on the smaller size. Every time I've eaten inside, things have been enjoyable. Last two times i have ordered for take out, they have messed up the order. If you haven't been here, check it out. Don't order take out.
We absolutely loved it here, very busy so we will make reservation the next time. Only gave it 4 stars on account of the small food portion size for the price. We had the Guiness Beef Stew, very good, and the Black Pearl Salmon, which was under seasoned and so was the risotto for my liking, and a VERY small portion for the price. Other than that the staff was extremely attentative and on top of getting us what we needed. We will absolutely give it another try when we're back in town.
Is there a reason you display chamber pots in the china cabinet in the dining room ? Maybe some lovely china would be more appetizing.
The Garryowen was a marvelous place to be for St. Patrick's Day weekend. The Irish fare tastes authentic, and they have a marvelous selection of beer and whiskey. Make a reservation early. It's a popular spot, but if you need to wait, it has several bars tucked away on the various levels. Had great craic!
I’ve heard great things about this place. It was a Friday early afternoon and people were really drunk. Our waiter was super great and the food was awesome. I think we’d go back in the early afternoon. Lol. It’s a party spot.
