I took my wife out to dinner tonight for her birthday and delighted her sister from Texas and her Dad from MD. Everything was great as it always has been, until I asked for some plates for the Carvell ice cream cake I got her. Policy for them is no outside food as "If you get sick they could be sued" #1 it is in a sealed box. #2 if I got sick I would sue Carvell! #3 They just want you to buy their desert. My favorite place for date nights with the hubby. Also the only place I can find my favorite whiskey Paddy's Bee Sting. My favorite GO to's ( lol like what i did there) Salmon brushetta and Bee Sting on the rocks Upstairs. Gotta be upstairs. Love you guys
We were in Gettysburg for two nights, stayed at the Brafferton Inn and ate dinner at Garryowen’s two nights in a row! We went back the second night because the first was so good! I had Bangers and Mash the first night and the second we shared the Irish Navhos and I had the crab and red pepper bisque. Everything was wonderful. It was exactly the place we were looking for! Great service, food and ambience!
It was my first time at the Garryowen Irish Pub and I thought it was really good...Our meals were prepared just the way we ordered them and wow what a huge amount of food
Carol and I ventured into The Garryowen after a day of touring Gettysburg. We were warmly greeted, given great service by our server and the food was delicious. The Black and Tans also hit the spot after a long day of walking. We would definitely recommend, although with the crowds, they really don't need it. It was packed with many waiting outside.
Totally great food and wonderful staff. Very highly recommend
