Dr.Rakusin has done root canals,applied posts for crowns,and is there for any dental emergency. He is a superb doctor. His knowledge and expertise are so obvious that when my blood pressure is taken it is as low as if I were at rest. I have complete and total confidence that whatever procedure he is doing will be smooth and pain free. One could not ask for a better experience for these procedures. Dr.Rakusin is a charming and caring doctor who is brilliant at his craft. I recommend him without hesitation.
This Endodontist is the best in my experience, and I've had several root canals unfortunately. The only non-5-star is fee schedule, and if you want cheap endodontics then you might experience do-overs as I have in the past.
My dentist originally referred me to Dr. Rakusin because I was having severe facial/dental pain she couldn't identify. Dr. Rakusin found the pain source in 30 seconds. I have also seen Dr. Rakusin for two root canals and an apicoectomy ( which is a root canal done through the gum instead of the tooth), all with 100% success and nearly zero discomfort. In January of 2007, I fearfully went in to have 3 root canals to save three teeth...(by the way, he did all three that afternoon) Dr. Rakusin is so relaxed, so calm, and funny! He did all three and I would go back to him anytime. His skills are obvious after he interviewed me for my case-- my experience there was far beyond what I was expecting. Wow! I wish all doctors cared about their paitients as much as this guy! I have been going to Dr. Rakusin since I was in College....and now my wife sees him and loves him. Great job!
If you have to have a root canal, Dr Rakusin is the guy to see. I was calmed by his pleasant, humorous manner. He took the time to make sure the pain meds were working before he started on me. He also used a dental dam on me, only the tooth was exposed, so I wouldn't feel all the stuff flying around my mouth. I hope I never have to have another root canal but if I do, I will be back to see him. He is very professional. Beth
Dr. Rakusin was the gentlest endodontidt I have ever been to. He made me feel comfortable and at ease. No pain whatsoever!
DR. RAKUSIN HAS DONE 6 ROOT CANNALS FOR ME, AND NOT ONE OF THEM HURT. THEY ALL TURNED OUT GREAT, AND I HAVE HAD NO DIFFICULTIES. I HAVE HAD A ROOT CANNAL FROM SOMEONE ELSE BEFORE, AND LET'S JUST SAY, I'M GLAD I FOUND A PAIN FREE DOCTOR TO TURN TO.
