This restaurant was recommended highly by another business in Murray. We went there for lunch. Our waitress warned us that two members of her wait staff were not there and they were behind. We should have left, but we wanted to try it. Waited over 70 minutes for our food. The food was good, but not worth the length of our wait. The owner did give one of my friends her $20 back after she complained nicely. We will not be going back.
Love this restaurant. The food is incredibly fresh and absolutely delicious and the owner is as gracious as can be. The Shrimp and Grits we had last Friday for dinner were outstanding, as was the French Coconut pie we had for dessert. Very easy to be seated but for a holiday or if there are any major events in town it's best to call for a reservation.

I love this place! The garden gate salad and cheesy potato soup are my favorite!!! Although, I had the country ham quiche today..... It may have been the best quiche I have ever had. Do yourself a favor and stop here for lunch one day. You won't be sorry!!
Garden Gate has the BEST tuna salad--so delicious and is most definitely the best in our area. Furthermore, no one holds a candle to your cheesy potato soup. I'm not sure what you put in it, but it is just incredible and irresistible!
Service and Food has been outstanding. My wife and I go often and we have never been disappointed. The Friday evening specials are excellent. Pricey by Murray standards, but not for the quality and quantity given. The special soups are our favorite.
Very cute little place, glad my friend Dr. Crystal Coleman suggested meeting there!
