⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Such a lovely little spot in Toronto’s east end! I had such a great experience at Garden Bar and Bodega. Thomas, Isabella and Reza were all incredibly friendly, welcoming and genuinely kind. Everyone was honest, helpful and gave great recommendations, which made the experience feel really personal. I've been here a few times now, great vibes! Lots of love for sports fans on their huge patio where you can watch games outside in the summer! Lots of good friendly locals who are there to have a good time, and not just to get sloppy drunk and belligerent. By contrast it's nice that they also have zones where you can go and enjoy live music if you're not there for sports. Hosted a joint birthday here this summer & our group had a great time! We did a partial rental and got to use half of the patio space, which was perfect size for our group of 30-40 people. It’s quite spacious & affordable to host an event as well. The owners were super accommodating in coordinating our event leading up to it & the service + vibes were great. Would recommend!
Garden Bar was incredible — so welcoming, warm, and genuinely lovely to celebrate with. Highly recommend for any kind of celebration: citizenship parties, birthdays, bar mitzvahs, divorce parties… they’ve got you covered. They also do Spanish nights on Tuesdays, and bonus points: they’re Buffalo Bills fans.
