On vacation in Key West this week, my son and I walked up Duval to enjoy a meal at Garbo’s (which was featured on Triple D). The girl behind the counter shut us down explaining that they close at 9 tonight. Not according to their website which has a 10 PM closing time. No sympathy from the server. Not very Key West like... SO disappointed... we will never go again!
Recommendedgood fish tacos and really great Korean short rib tacos. Good drinks and conversation at the bar in front of Garbos' Grill.
We ate there twice this week and the food was really good. When we were there Thursday night, the guy waiting on us could have cared less if we were there or not. I was nothing like it was at the old location. Also one of the metal chairs has a broken seat and it ripped a hole in a brand new pair of shorts, needless to say my meal was ruined.
