Great Selection and Service All the employees are very helpful in finding the right shoe for your foot. They also know of a lot of runs to do in Salem Gallagher's has a huge selection and sell many big name brands such as Nike. I have bought two pairs of shoes there. One of them ripped, and we got a full refund. This is a great store for walkers and runners alike.
The best Store in Salem for all your running/walking needs Gallaghers is amazing. They have your chlid or you come in with your old shoes, they look at your shoes and how you wear them ie... pronate, and what your goal/need is then pick the shoes that are best for you. They watch you run down the hall to see how you run. They really care about the fit and comfort of your shoe, so knowledgeable Very active in the community, with workshops and sponsering runs PROS: great service CONS: parking downtown
Great staff and selection Every staff member is very knowledgable and helpful. If you need advice or feel clueless then this is the place to go. They also run several walking/running clinics which are really inspiring.
Gallagher Fitness Resources Bought a pair that felt good in the store for the 10 feet you walk to test em. Next morning i realized one foot was outside the sole. Knowing that walking 6-8 miles a day on this shoe would cause me severe pain. Took them back tried a couple more pairs, alas still no perfect shoe. A refund was offered and accepted. Staff was great, friendly and helpful.
Great resource in a small store Gallagher Fitness is a wonderful resource for walkers and runners in the Salem area. The knowledgable staff carefully help fit running and walking shoes correctly to the individual foot, provide information about local running and walking events, and participate in local charity fundraisers. They really specialize in running and know their stuff.
Very helpful This store has a long aisle to run down so you can really try out those new shoes before you buy them. The staff are very knowledgeable and can help you find the right show for you. Parking is limited and prices a a little higher than major chain stores, but the service makes up for it.
Recommendedthank you so much for CORRECTLY fitting me and helping me find my new show. I was running in a ASICS 2110s since 2007, and every time I tried a new shoe would get hurt. eventually I couldn't find them online anymore and my stock of hoarded 2110s got depleted. but thanks to you, I have an amazing new shoe (brooks) that i stinking LOVE and I'm back on the road with zero pain. WORTH EVERY PENNY.
