The best GI doctor in Chattanooga. Excellent bedside manner, extremely knowledgeable and helpful, and will easily put any fears you have to rest. I would never consider going to anyone else!
I have been seeing Dr Schmitt for 24 years. She is the most knowledgeable doctor if you have GI problems. I have Crohn's and she has helped me through many ups and downs, some of which were emergencies. The thing I like best is her attitude towards her patients. She takes her time and explains what is going on and what you need to do. She is also one of the nicest people I have ever dealt with. At this point I consider her a friend as well as my doctor.
