Actually, the saddest part is that I really love this app. It's one of the few that I have paid for, but now, without notice, my payment doesn't count and I have to 'subscribe' for a monthly fee even though I have already purchased it. Bad move. Greedy. If the app wasn't this awesome, I wouldn't care as much. I would still think that Gaiam are a bunch of money-grubbing stinky-heads though.
Why I have to pay again for using the app? I've already purchased once when downloading the older vesion. It's scam!
Bought Studio Yoga and Gaia changed what I purchased to a subscription model and stole my original purchase. Don't trust this company that only care about the money. Watch out for the bad Karma on this move.
I have owned the yoga studio app for at least five years....loved it....recommended it to my friends......and then this morning I went to use it and now it wants me to pay for a subscription service for an app I already purchased years ago?!?!?! So disappointed in this company. �
Where is the Yoga Studio app I purchased? Switching to a subscription model without continuing to provide access to the original content is against Apple's guidelines. Greedy!
They have terrible customer service as if they don't care at all. For being a yoga company they don't seem to spread joy and peace.
I purchased your app for 4.99 used it for a few years and you are now asking me to repurchase something I thought I owned - very underhand business practice - will switch back to the YOGA dot Com app I previously used - what a poor way to treat customers -
Re: Yoga Studio App -From Apple Support guidelines: If you are changing your existing app to a subscription-based business model, you should not take away the primary functionality existing users have already paid for. For example, let customers who have already purchased a “full game unlock” continue to access the full game after you introduce a subscription model for new customers.
Unethical company. They bought a very popular app, Yoga Studio App, from the developer and locked out all the customers who paid for the app and have been using it for years unless they now pay Gaiam for a subscription. To access the content WE ALREADY PAID FOR. Will absolutely not be giving them another cent. I have been recommending this app to all kinds of people for years. I will still be sharing my opinion of this company, unfortunately for them.
