$3 delivery charge surprise. Lukewarm food when delivered. – The good: Delivery time was no more than a half hour. Once we heated up thes teak kabob and the chicken dish, the steak was tender and flavorful. The not so good: Trouble communicating in English with staff members on telephone. Advised we were paying by credit card but delivery company driver had no idea and would only take cash. Surprise $3 delivery charge on bill. Dishes were lukewarm upon arrival.

Open late! – I've been here a few times and it's been nice for meeting up with friends late at night. Their food isn't the best but it's not bad. Their chicken was flavorful and their rice cooked well. Service can be so-so at times.

Great casual eatery – Gaby's isn't a fancy place- its a place where you can meet some friends, wear sandals and shorts, and relax. As a result, the service is relaxed, as well. You may have to flag someone down when you need someone, occasionally (I actually prefer this to having a waiter hanging over my table over 3 minutes, but I guess that is just me). The pita and zaatar starter is so addictively good. And the prices for the dishes are great for what you get. I love the maanik wrap sandwich with the salad (I love their s... read more

Best in Town for the Value – We moved from NY a few months ago and found this place tucked away right in our neighborhood. We go here about 4 times a month. We Love it! Out of all this times we have eaten there we have had one off night. Big deal! They work their butts off and provide a great service and food for what it cost. Two people can fill up for about 25 bucks with tip. We do like the one in Culver City over Venice Beach, too many nuts out there. So in short if you want good cheap eats go here!

Great service!!! – After reading all of the reviews, all the bad things everyone had to say about the service, I still went over to try the best mediterranean food in town. the food was hands down the best in town, but the service was spot on. We had 2 waitresses coming by our table. The bussers were by to fill our glasses. Not what we were expecting. I can't wait to try their Ocean side restaurant on Washington Blvd. at the peir.

The worst customer service ever – Totally not service oriented. What's worse another patron claimed to be "legal representation" for the owners & wanted special treatment. Ugh.

Super food at cheap prices – We discovered this restaurant on Citysearch and weren't disappointed. The food is outstanding, especially the appetizer platters like baba ghanouj, hoummus and falafel. The portions are quite generous at very reasonable prices. We ate like kings for $22 for two people. The first time we went, we brought both a bottle of red and a bottle of white, but were only charged one $5 corking fee. The food comes out quite quickly, so there isn't a whole lot of time to eat leisurely. The first thing out is ... read more

awesome food, loooong wait for waiters – I have a love/hate relationship with Gaby's. On one hand, these guys serve the best kebabs and garlic paste I've ever tasted. Super, super good food, I kid you not. On the other hand, service was bad big time. Takes forever to get a waiter's attention to do anything: get your order, get your check, even just wanting a glass of water. One time they even forgot our order and we had to wait an extra long time during which we finally said screw this, just pack it up & we'll eat it at home... read more

once/week – I live close to Gaby's and eat here at least once a week. Just cannot resist their chicken kebab sandwich (for 6.50) that comes with a great salad.
