Comes across as a very nice pleasant individual initially then once you place your order, be ready for the run around. Gerry will lie about the price, quality, delivery and then will stop taking your calls altogether.
Do not deal with this Company – I had the same experience as Joseph the great's review. I foolishly prepaid in Feb 2010 for materials to be used in the construction of my new home based on a neighbor who had dealt with the company. Nothing but stalls and broken promises months later when it came time to deliver the goods with weeks of advance notice by me. Do not buy from this supplier – Gerry Wilcox, the owner, is a first class crook!!!! Do not buy from this company as you will lose your time, money and energy!! He does not supply on time, never return phone calls and its overdue on delivery! You are throwing your money away. Never pay him in advance. Pay with credit card or pay upon delivery, otherwise you can kiss your money goodbuy...
We won't do any business with them again. – We are waiting for our job to be finished, it's now 1 1/2 years since our original order in August of 2008 and we have no idea when Mike will be out to finish the job. We purchased too much product for our upstairs originally and returned 2 sealed boxes of hardwood flooring with the instalation men, who promissed a refund for the returned materials. DO NOT BUY FROM GW LUMBER – Over a year ago I ordered and paid for 2,100 square feet of unfinished maple flooring. GW Lumber required that the materials were paid for in advance, which I did. One year later I still have not received my materials. I have tried to contact the owner, Gerry, I have left over 100 messages with no return phone call. Do not make the same mistake as I did, DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY.
Best Flooring Doors Tile and a whole lot more and they ship anywhere in the us and Canada – Excellent products, excellent service. Worked with Joe in the Brockton Location, and he worked hard to get me the best price. Cut out the middle man and save money. High end tile stairs and hardwood, with expert desighn services.
