Quick to take your money; lacks follow through, honesty and integrity. Gerry Wilcox was not able to complete our order, told us he would return our money. It's now been about 6 weeks that we have been trying to reach him to get our money back but he won't return our phone calls or e-mails.

We paid in advance for our wood flooring but the company after over 2 years was unable to complete the order. They agreed to refund our money and committed to having the refund authorized almost a month ago, but have not followed through and now they don't return our phone calls or e-mails.

We ordered hardwood flooring through Gerry Wilcox which was a big mistake. We were required to pay for the material 100% up front. First installment of flooring was delivered and looked great. Gerry called and said he had another customer who needed our stock and he would have new made for us and ready in about a month. We said fine, as long as the new material that was made matched exactly with our first installment. I ordered a set of Brazilian Cherry Stairs for the house we are remodeling. They came in perfect conditions though it took a few days more than the two weeks what i was originally promised. 19 days in total. The price was at least 30% less than the next guy, but the quality was outstanding. Funny thing is when I picked up the stairs i saw they had Composite Decking for 1.99 a linear foot

Contrary to the popular mood i decided to try this place I had heard so many controversial comments about. I bought 460 square ft. of Canadian Red Oak for my sister in law's house on the Cape, in Centerville. I did not want to buy the less expensive Oak, instead I bought Canadian Red Oak. I paid 3.69 per sq. ft. for Select and Better. The material was ready for pickup in two days. I installed and the job came out flawless. Gerry was not "smooth", he was kind. This is my experience plain and Simple.

Unfortunately, most people only write reviews when they have something bad to say. I would like to do the opposite. I just ordered over \$4000. worth of decking from GW Lumber a week ago and it was delivered to my home one week later. The price was excellent and the service very good. No, I didn t always get a return call back as soon as I wanted but, I do realize that I am not their only customer. Gerry was very helpful and pleasant to work with. I had no problems with them as a company and would use them again.

Don't pretend to be a kitchen guy when you are a flooring guy Everyone, PLEASE read all reviews on GW Lumber. DO NOT buy a kitchen from Gerry . Gerry will give you a great price and talk the smooth talk. Cabinets were missing from the original order, then I was charged for them and had wait awhile to get them. Other cabinets came in wrong size or broken. He will only accept full payment upfront by check, No credit card. You have NO recourse. Terrible service. Vanished for months without notice. Let bank deadlines pass. Installed different materials than agreed upon without notice. Cannot un-recommend enough.

Terrible service. Vanished for weeks on end and stopped returning calls. Installed cheaper materials than we discussed. Allowed bank-imposed deadlines to lapse without any signs of concern. Worst. Experience. Ever. Seriously, this was probably one of the most stressful times of my life and GW is largely responsible.
