I signed in at 8:52 am for my 10:00 am appt. I was called in at 10:10 am. The dr(????) came in at 10:20 am. I brought a copy of my mri reports from a few weeks prior. I asked him to look at these about 6 times and he refused. I had paid for two mri of my spine out of my pocket so that he could see the current condition of my spine and he WOULD NOT EVEN LOOK AT THEM!!!! Dr Mcbride went to school at the 7-11 on Lee rd, Got his degree at the Mobil gas station on Lee rd
Apparently, they didn't teach Dr. McBride human compassion when he went to medical school. My mother broke down after being coldly told there was nothing that could be done for her. Dr. McBride just left the room. He didn't listen to her when she told him that the task she was doing at work was the reason why she was in pain. Instead, he stated that she was able to perform her old duties at work in his report. I asked him to recommend that she at least get to sit at work. He rudely told me no. Dr McBride performed 2 spinal fusions on me about 13 yrs apart. He is a fabulous surgeon. I have great mobility and am able to do just about anything (including yoga). I highly recommend him.
I don't want to be tottally diabled, Dr McBride worked hard to manage my pain and to allow me to go back to some work. However, there is no way without years worth of surgery that I can get into my office. He helped explain that I needed full benifits although I was slow to accept it, but I'm glad I put my trust in such an accomplished doctor, because now I can focus on recovering and living. Yes Dr. McBride is definately a misguided individual. He will do whatever it takes to not treat you under Workers Comp. I can't see how he can sleep at night knowing with MRI proof and another highly reguarded Doctor's report of a new injury to say there is nothing wrong. In my opinion he is deeply violating his oath he took when he became a doctor. I have been forced to obtain the services of an attorney and pursue legal actions. I was impress with dr. mcbride care. He did not suggest surgery until alternative method was used and once on relief he did not hestiate to suggest and perform lumar spinal surgery
If you are seeing Dr. McBride under Workers Comp get a lawyer immediately!!!!!!! He does the bidding of Workers Comp, he will misdiagnose you and hide behind his assistant, make sure you keep copies of your MRI and paperwork. If you have questions he will smile and try to reassure you, do not trust him!!!!!! The pain you are experiencing is definitely not in your head. Be proactive about protecting your state of mind,health and your family from this doctor.
