Dr. McBride gave me my life back in 1989. My back hurt so much I could barely walk. After trying so many different doctors and methods, I found Dr. McBride. He performed a spinal fusion in my back at L5/S1. It was a three month recovery period at that time, but I am now 71 years young and still walking with no pain. When I have gone to local doctors for minor problems, they are all so amazed by the engineering skills applied to the placement of this apparatus. Dr. McBride is caring, thorough and so gifted. He was my gift fro... read more

Dr. McBride did a lumbar fusion on me July 2017. 2 spacers, 2 rods and 6 screws were placed. I walked out of the hospital the next day with all of the nerve/lower leg pain gone! I had suffered for years; trying everything - physical therapy, chiropractor, pain management/injections, etc. My only regret is that I let my unfounded fear of back surgery delay what turned out to be the best thing I could have done. There was minor surgery discomfort for a few weeks; had to wear a huge brace for a month and then a smaller one for ... read more

Dr. McBride did surgery on my back in 1987 putting in 2 rods after a construction accident leaving me a paraplegic. I have lived a normal life till a bout 3 year ago when I developed burning sensations in my legs, the pain relief Dr. I`ve been seeing tried everything from pills to epidural shots, finally a ct scan showed I had arthritis in my lower lumbar putting pressure on my spinal cord , in April 2016 I was sent back to see Dr. McBride by my pain relief Dr. He suggested an implant, I asked how is an implant going to reli... read more

Dr. McBride did my first cervical fusion in 1991. After such good results, we did a lumbar fusion in 2007. A follow-up cervical fusion was done in 2013 and a less invasive lumbar fusion was done in 2015. Obviously, I trusted Dr. McBride to do these delicate surgeries which all turned out alright. He is a conservative orthopedic and will not operate unless it is absolutely necessary. I would not use anyone other than Dr. McBride.

Business response:

We’re so glad to hear about your positive experience with Dr. McBride. Hope all is well and thank you for sharing!

THE....THE rudest physician I have ever met. Wont answer questions or concerns. TOTAL God complex. HIGHLY SUGGEST YOU NOT USE HIM. He did a lower lumbar fusion on me in Dec 2013. AFTER he got the check..no more happy visits. Would not give me the care needed for recovery. We have filed a complain with the Medical Board

Dr. Mcbride seen me after I was rear ended while sitting at a stop light, He was in the room for all of five minutes. I explained to him that I was in a lot of pain and not sleeping. I also explained to him That I had an accident two years ago and had 3 herniated disc in my neck and two in my back. He never asked for a release to get those results. He ordered an MRI and informed me he wanted me to come back in 4 to 6 weeks. Not after the MRI was completed but in 4 to 6 weeks. He fails to properly diagnose and treat your pain... read more

I too felt he was just doing paperwork for workers comp Waited 3 weeks w numbness and pain for him to tell me yes I have herniation in disk and if I really wanted to I could get a nerve test. He left the room and sent in nurse with nerve test paper. No instruction for pain or numbness. I had to beg to have him come back in room to answer my questions. He sent nurse back to day he was done w me. I am still stirring her waiting to speak to him after expressing my frustrations

Lack of care and concern for his patients, especially when there are complications. I feel like they got the 125,000 for my spinal fusion but now that I still have pain, they don't care.
