I endured a major injury at work and had SEVERE neck pain. I immediately made an appointment with Dr. McBride and even had my MRI ready so I could hopefully receive treatment. On my first and only visit, he walked into the office told me casually I had "two herniated discs in my cervical spine" and then his cell phone begin to ring. He took the call during our appointment and stated quote: "yes, I still would like to purchase that...let me go back to my office to give you my credit card information" and then he turned and le... read more

Well, here we are...12 years since my surgery by Dr. McBride. I went on medical leave in Feb. 2003'. Had spinal/fusion surgery 4 days later. Could never return back from medical leave because the state, in 2003' , declared me "Disabled Too Severe To Work". I signed paperwork prior to surgery, but didn't sign up for being Disabled. The surgery was a total failure. I agreed to the surgery so I didn't have to take pain meds for the rest of my life. Now however, I have to take pain meds for the rest of my life. What's wrong with... read more

It is my understanding that less then 14% of spinal and neck surgery achieve positive results, with that said..... I am very fortunate. Dr. McBride and his team gave me the care and treatment that now allows me to function and perform daily activities. I am forever grateful for his talent and all under his guidance. Nothing in life is guarantied but now i have an extended warranty.

Dr. McBride is quite great. First off he listened. Totally listened to me. Not looking at a chart or paper he looked me in the face and listened. I was in great pain! Then he had me walk, I was limping badly. I explained that I had previously had L5-S1 fusion six years ago in Greece. I cannot get the records of that surgery ad the whole country is in shambles and the hospital where it was done does not exist. I told him I worked, and he asked me if i could continue since i could barely walk. I ws like sure, if we can manage ... read more

After years of pain after a fall as a child I finally went to him to look at my lower back. He did a couple x-rays, and said everything was NORMAL, so gave me muscle relaxers, and wanetd me to go for physical therapy. I never did cause I knew it wouldn't work. So I gave up for a little while, then got an MRI a couple of months later, which showed my lower spine is deformed. Guess that's "normal" to him. Waste of time and money. He was very nice, but did nothing to help me, and made me think I was silly for thinking something... read more

Barely did anything to check my physical condition, then disagrees with recommendations made by PT staff who have seen me practically every other day. Wants me to lift far more weight than I have lifted in months because of *his* restrictions, but now says I'll be fine with it because my injury "doesn't take that long to recover from." Has no idea what I do for a living and no interest in understanding why reconditioning in a controlled environment is important for my health and so that things will run smoothly at work where... read more

My mother has had back surgery from Dr. Mcbride. He is amazing, his skill and expertise is top notch. He is the best at what he does. My mom was able to walk the next day with minimal pain. I would recommend him to anyone that has any back issues!!
