I don't know what we'd do without Maria and Functional Kids! We tried multiple different PT/OT Centers and multiple different therapists that never worked out for various reasons. The first visit with my son who's Autistic I mentioned family history of Ehlers Danlos Syndrome and challenges we've been having with it and our daughter. Maria has an amazing gift for understanding children and their unique needs when it comes to sensory/ASD. My daughter adores Maria and consistently asks when we get to go see her. Maria gently suggested some alternative methods including essential oils. The very first night my girl fell fast asleep with no tossing/turning or turmoil. I'm so very thankful for what Maria has done for our family.
She is an amazing person. She has done so much for our family can't even begin to explain.
As a client for over a year now the progress my son has shown is beyond what our expectations were when we first started our therapy sessions. In the year since we started the progress is beyond what we thought we could accomplish. Maria works hard at every session with our son, and also educates my wife and I about what we can do at home to continue the therapy. So far, our visits with my Evey have been amazing. I'm so happy to be learning so much about my tiny girl and finding ways to help her at home. Things I never knew about her are coming forward and it makes so much sense now. Thank you so much for everything you have done for us so far. I can't wait to see her progress!
Maria is amazing with my son! We were originally going to physio and I wasnt super happy with the way it was going. They referred us to Maria and we loved her from the start! So willing to help and do everything in her ability to help kids overcome their obstacles slowing them down (or speeding them up in my sons case)! Thank you Maria for all your dedication!
