DO NOT LIVE HERE!!!!! I’ve lived here for a few years and it used to be an ok place to live however, now it is terrible. I don’t know what’s worse between the shootings, my apartment being broke into, the sexual harassment, no security or my car being hit in the parking lot. PARENTS DO NOT LET YOUR CHILDREN LIVE HERE. I’ve been harassed by nonresidents that constantly hang out in the parking lot. They often boot residents cars and charge $200+. People race in the parking lots so residents cars are subject to fall victim to hit and runs. The staff claim upgrades are coming, but I’ve lived here for over four years and haven’t seen any. The grass isn’t taken care of and furniture often sits at the dumpsters for months. The “security” is a joke and the gates have been broken since October.
My daughter lived there for 4 years while at Uncg. In the beginning the management was great. They took care of any maintenance issues that came up. The management changed 5 times in the four years she lied there and it worsen with each change. Mold would keep come up through the carpet even after it we cleaned it. Last year the pool was closed April to mid August. The last month of her lease she didn't live there but there was an overage fee in power. Would definitely not recommend.
Parents, save yourself some time, money and headaches by skipping this place. It changed owners/mgmt multiple times over my kid's term. Never for the better. Forget using the pool until sometime in mid summer, maybe... Poor maintenance and office staff.
I have lived at Fulton (now Student Quarters) for all my four years at UNCG. It is very close to campus, which is great. BUT the apartments have gone so downhill from when I moved here. The floors are terrible, every year we have problems with our AC. There is a moisture problem in our floor. It is extremely overpriced for what you're getting. I don't have much experience with the newest management, but I've seen the management change at least 5 times since I moved in. Take my experience--look elsewhere.
Management is unorganized and unhelpful. If you need anything done you have to continuously call until they get tired of you and even then you may not receive help. Peak Campuses corporate office isn't any better. It's only a good place to live if you never need anything.
