We stopped in after the alabama game, the group I was with ordered right before I did, they were finished eating and 20min later I still hadn't got my order, I went up and the kid pulling orders was rude and said I would get it soon, sat back down then asked for a manager, he went up and brought my order out within 30sec and brought me a bundle of cookies, hope this doesn't happen often, fyi they weren't that busy either
This is, hands down, one of my favorite places. The Full Moon in Fultondale, AL has a great atmosphere from the music choice to the people they employ. I'm a sucker for outside sliced pork and buffalo style "Love Me Tenders." The prices are on point as well. For anything from a date night to "daddy daughter" day, Full Moon is always a great option!
Grew up on NC BBQ, lived on Memphis BBQ the last 20 years. This is pretty good AL BBQ. The chopped pork sandwiches are topped with a great sauce and Chow Chow instead of Slaw. I like it! Onion Rings are huge and very tasty! Have had their huge stuffed potatoes before too. Unreal!
I would give it a 5 if the ribs were cooked all the way. Half done ribs sucks.
We came through this area and decided to stop in Full Moon because the reviews were good and the parking lot was packed on a Wednesday. It did not disappoint! The food was absolutely delicious (we got the barbecue nachos and a chicken sandwich kids meal). The customer service was on point and the manager even brought us a box of their world famous (delicious) cookies! We will definitely be back the next time we come through!
