Dr. Frist was very professional and efficient in diagnosis of my condition.. he was always available for contact with any questions and very knowledgeable about prognosis of my condition. Assertive but good bedside manner.
Dr. Frist took his time and explained the complete process, from pre-treatment to follow up in understandable terms, and answered my questions satisfactorily.
Probably one of the worst doctors I have ever experienced. He didn’t listen to anything I said, no exam, less than a 5 minute visit and I left with a prescription. This was my second visit as I wanted to give the practice a second shot as it can highly recommended. My first visit I was told to take Miralax after over a year of issues. He is rude, arrogant, unprofessional and has no business working with patients. Happy he collected the money for a 3 minute appointment with no exam.

So far (3 visits) I like Dr. Frist and thinks he knows his stuff. He has been professional and courteous. I am at a loss to understand his negative reviews on here. I intend to see him more and think he is all you could want in a gastroenterologist.

Dr. Frist came in right away and was really friendly, which was great. Then he asked me about my symptoms. I told him the symptoms and that I could guess what his diagnosis was and I didn't think that was it. In fact, the reason I was seeing him was because I saw one of his colleagues the week before and he gave me that diagnosis and I didn't think it lined up with my symptoms. He still didn't take me seriously and just said it was pretty much the same thing without looking or asking any further

If you want a doctor that seems concerned for you, is patient, and gives you a feeling of security knowing that you're in good hands, I recommend NOT going to see Dr. Frist. I gave him a year and half to help deal with my Crohn's. I truly think he's one of those doctors that got into it for the money and status. It's certainly not because he has a true passion to care for people. He always seemed rushed when I was with him and forget trying to talk to him on the phone. He really hates that.

IT WOULD SEEM ALL THE OTHER COMMENTS ARE RELATED TO HIS BEDSIDE MANNER. GET OVER IT, HE IS A SUPER DOCTOR, KNOWS HIS BUSINESS AND GETS THE JOB DONE. I GO TO HIM NOT BECAUSE HE IS SWEET, BUT BECAUSE HE IS A FINE DOCTOR...THE STAFF ARE SUPER. DON BLANTON
Dr. Michael Frist is the worst doctor I have ever met. He is rude, arrogant, disrespectful, and not compassionate at all, he is just plain nasty. I have never come in contact with with a temperament like his. I took my invalid 80 year old mother for an appointment with him recently and he asked her why she was back to see him and that she needed to follow up with her primary care doctor because he could not help her. He berated her in front his staff. Big mistake in choosing him, huge!
Worst Dr ever....distracted. ..disconnected. Always felt rushed almost to the extent he was rude. ..still being billed and haven't seen him since January 2015... my primary care referred me to another gastro who ordered an abdominal scan and found a mass..lost my job and insurance before I could get the MRI ordered by the second gastro. ..Frist didn't look hard enough....my health is compromised and it's Frist fault! Doesn't deserve the title of Dr. Horrible. ..just horrible!
