Was a quick visit but Dr Frist was very easy to deal with - friendly, ready to answer my questions. Highly recommend!
I’m writing this review while still waiting for my colonoscopy. I arrived at the clinic at 9:40 for my 10:00am visit. At 11:30 I finally got up and asked if I was going to be seen. I was brought back 3 minutes later. So a 2 hour wait and an hour and a half wait after my scheduled appointment. I was told that my insurance wouldn’t pay because of a coding issue and to talk to Dr Frisk to get the code changed so my insurance would pay. I was impressed with my short time in the waiting room, the friendly and efficient staff, and my visit with Dr. Frist. He is very professional and seems to listen well and get every detail.
I stormed out of my colonoscopy on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 before it even began! Worst medical experience of my life! Run don’t walk away from the arrogant and condescending Dr. Michael Frist! A cattle call prison intake environment! Rude nurse! Horrendous lobby with chairs jamming patients in like sardines! This joint is a low class billing machine! I was a bit nervous seeing Dr Frist after the reviews here but I was able to get in quickly due to another patient’s cancellation. Dr Frist listened to a brief history of my symptoms, asked a few clarifying questions, didn’t interrupt my narrative and then suggested a procedure, gave me an Rx for any potential pain in the meantime, and walked me directly to the procedure desk. Arrogant! Not helpful. Resolute
Four days of extreme chest pain from jackhammer esophageal spasms. I called when the office opened on Monday. Never heard from him until late Tuesday afternoon. He refused to prescribe the meds that stop the spasms telling me I'd have to get it from my primary. Additionally told me that there was nothing more that he could do and that I have to see my primary. I'm sorry aren't you the expert? My primary sent me to you! Dr Frist only likes to do procedures. I would not recommend Dr. Frist. He is completely apathetic to your health and well-being as a patient.
