The best Mexican food I have ever had and the staff is 5 star
The staff was great but we found the food average particularly the rice had absolutely no flavor, the Ahi appetizer was the high light along with the corn side dish(both recommended by our water) I had the chili rellno and it was average as well as the fish tacos my wife had niether was exceptional not great. We were very disappointed especially considering the menu prices were disproportionately high for the quality of the food most expensive margaritas we have had on the island and not the best by far

We enjoyed everything about Frida's. The food, drinks, view, and staff. Relaxed and warm environment. The oyster cocktail appetizer was off the hook! And don't miss the ribeye steak, it was everything. Make a reservation, but if a waterside table isn't available have a drink at the bar until one opens up - worth the wait. We'll be back!'

Chili relleno and quesadilla were both bomb. Had an awesome seat right on the ocean. Only knocked a star because it's over priced, even for Maui.. I've lived in SoCal my whole life and have tried many Mexican spots in maui, this one will be my go to when I'm craving Mexican. Carne Asada was on point in the quesadilla, chille relleno left a little to be desired but still better than most places in San Diego.
