We just ate dinner at Frida's during our vacation to Maui and it was an amazing experience. First of all, we had an amazing view of the sunset and were right by the water. Then, the guacamole was so good! We were pleasantly surprised by the extra touch with the pomegranate seeds. The rest of our meal was delicious too but to top it all off, we had the best service by our waitress, Geri (spelling?) . She had a great since of humor and gave great recommendations! Outstanding! Loved the margarita's and all the food. Amazing.
The food was excellent. Very authentic Mexican cuisine. The view was amazing. We had their "Classic margarita" and they were very good. I would highly recommend this to anyone interested in authentic Mexican food while on Maui
There were 5 of us--some local & some tourists. Our server was great. I had a fish dish & someone else had shrimp. They were both terribly overcooked. The other items on the plate (rice, black beans, etc) were excellent. I'd definitely go back, but would either order something other than fish, or have a 'conversation' about it first.
Kinda bummed they didn't have the ceviche bowl that we saw on the Maui TV station. Beautiful view, great service and kinda pricey.

Absolutely amazing !!! Everything was good, authentic mexican food. We had the seafood cocktail, manchego quesadilla and chile relleno and everything was great. Even the chips and salsa were tasty. They even brought hot salsa for us. Great service ! �
