I have no idea what in God’s name has happened to this once great hospital! It used to be so nice here but after 2 emergency visits in the past 3 months it isn’t anymore. This also WAS my favorite hospital but I don’t know anymore. The nurses and techs in the emergency room or department are so unprofessional now. I have been coming to Torrance Memorial for years already (almost 20 years) and I have never seen it so bad especially the emergency department. I absolutely love this hospital. From the parking all the way to my discharge. They are so efficient, professional, compassionate and just so kind. I appreciate every single person I have encountered during my care there. Thank you! Thank you Torrance Memorial!

VLAD Registered Nurse working in emergency gave the worst service. For someone who works in hospitality he was not personable at all. People walk in the ER in pain and he didn’t even bother checking in on my mom. Would forget to check in on her needs and replug her banana bag if she needed to step away from her bed. He would not provide updates unless we asked for them, and even then was it very vague and as if he didn’t want to help us. Honestly one of the worst customer services for a primary physician. The front desk is always so rude like they don't want your business. The doctors are always fully booked so they try to get you to see a nurse practitioner instead, and they don't honor the appointments you made with the doctor. If you don't want the nurse practitioner instead, they cancel your appointment. Worst facility ever. Sign up with a primary physician in another place.

I took my mother into the ED last night and I have to give kudos to all the professionals. The from the registration clerk to the nurses, the doctor everyone. As far as ED visits go, we were extremely impressed with our visit. Thank you!
