Great Experience – I had a fabulous experience at French Bridals! A a bride-to-be, I have shopped at many other stores and I have not had as great of an experience as I had at French Bridals. This store is great! I walked in and immediately was met by one of the kind wedding consultants. Great Selection – When I was driving on the highway one day I noticed this great shoppe that sells bridal gowns. The first thing I noticed was its location. The location is very convinient and is less than an hour from Boston which made it very convinient for me. When I walked into the store, a very kind woman greated and welcomed me. Terrible! – My Fiance just called me crying after leaving this place. Being indecisive between two dresses, she was told to hurry up and decide and that if she did not purchase anything today, she would be charged a fee of $75 each time she came back! My fiance has been dreaming about the experience of shopping for a wedding dress since she was a little girl and French Bridals ruined it for her.
Very unprofessional – I didn't even make it into the door of this store and I had a horrible experience. I called the location to ask if they accepted walk ins or appointments only. The woman on the phone asked me if I was purchasing the dress there, which I couldn't answer because the father of the bride was going to be buying the dress. She told me not to come in saying "We get used a lot by women who just want to try on the dresses and then leave, so we don't allow people to come in unless they are going to buy". Rude customer service; commission hungry – I have had a couple of experiences with this shop - none of them which have been good. One, I went in as a bride to try on gowns. Although the experience wasn't awful, it wasn't great either. The woman helping me seemed preoccupied and treated me as though she would rather have been doing something other than helping me find the gown of my dreams. Beyond Unprofessional – The owner of this shop has no customer service ability... From reading these reviews, it sounds like she should stop announcing who she is. Shop somewhere else... You can find a better selection, better prices and a lot less headache by shopping somewhere else.
Rude owner – Owner was extremely rude-- she made me feel very uncomfortable. Notice how all reviews are either 4-5 stars or 1 star... a little suspicious.
French bridal excellent service. – I went to the store with my fiance today for the first time, we both were impressed by their service and that is the another reason that we bought the gown. Their gowns are gorgeous, I also bought the vail, it was so beautiful and goes good with my gown. Save yourself the pain – I have never had a worse experience. The Shop OWNER made a mistake when ordering my bridesmaid dress and then told me I could have alterations done for the same price as what I paid for the dress. When I inquired about what other options I might have, she unprovoked retorted that she doesn?t ?even have a responsibility to press a dress when it comes in"?
