I had a wonderful experience with Applewood Storage. Last year I had moved to Madison and the original storage company I was going to use, accidentally gave away my storage unit. They referred me to Applewood Storage and Dave the owner, worked somethings out and got me into a storage unit the day before the arrival of the the transportation company dropped off my stuff. I had an amazing experience at Applewood Storage! Very comfortable to get in and out, also Dave the owner is an amazing person. I really felt like I was doing business with family and I was being treated as family also, he is a very pleasant guy to trust with your belongings. I honestly recommend Applewood Storage to anyone looking for one! I ended up moving out of WI but if Im ever in need of a storage for sure I will contact Dave again.

I was referred to Applewood Self Storage by my realtor, who had just sold my home. I was under some time pressure, and Dave (Applewood Self Storage proprietor) was very prompt with telephone and email correspondence. He helped me determine the correct storage unit size and had me signed up in no time. The lease and directions for payment and for terminating the rental were clear and straightforward. The facility is clean, extremely secure, and excellently managed. I rented from 2009- 2014, and Dave and his family are both professional and personal. If I have need of storage in the future, I would do business with them again. As a future law enforcement professional, that other law enforcement professionals do business with them is an excellent endorsement.

I rented storage space at this facility over the phone from another state. Spoke to the owner who was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and who went out of the way to assist me with storage needs for my college student. The facility was clean, well maintained and easy to access. The process of getting the keys to my daughter (even though I am in another state) was surprisingly easy. I highly recommend this facility to anyone in the Madison area with storage needs.

I rented a large (about 15x20?) unit from Applewood SelfStorage on Marsh Road about 2 years ago to hold my furniture, etc from my home. I had no problems at all. The unit was clean and well-secured. I had easy access anytime I needed it because it was a garage-type unit. The units are built a few feet higher than the drive (with a ramp to each unit) so that the contents of the units stays dry (does not flood). We had a great experience with AppleWood storing our "summer car" this past winter. The storage units are maintained immaculately. Dave, the owner is extremely responsive, always getting back to you literally within minutes of an email or phone call. He is by no means an absentee landlord ... obviously spends alot of time around his properties.
