These people were great at first. Then it got to where I was keeping up with her medicine. If I did not then she would run out. I couldn't get nurses out it seemed. Her aide was amazing though. Then after them telling us they would not just leave us hanging. They discharged her and dropped us like a bad habit. These people do not have it together and if I were you I would try other places first.

I was referred to Freedom Hospice by a friend. All Hospice companies are not the same. When my stepdad went on hospice in 2020 we used a different hospice company. 2 weeks ago my mom went on hospice with Freedom Hospice. It was like night and day. The most amazing team! They always go above and beyond for both patients and their families. I’ve worked with a few different hospice companies and none of them compare to Freedom.
I have worked with Freedom Hospice for many years as a social worker with Overture Home Care. Darla Peznell in particular is a caring and compassionate nurse and exudes empathy and love for her patients and their families. When our caregivers work hand in hand with freedom hospice staff to care for their patients, I am secure in the knowledge that quality compassionate care is given to the patients and their loved ones.
